Tick tock, The Clockwork City for The Elder Scrolls Online has been detailed, dated, and priced!

-

Much of the latest The Elder Scrolls Online hype has surrounded the introduction of ESO: Morrowind. Well today Bethesda are bucking that trend as they’ve delivered full details, pricing structure and release dates for The Clockwork City DLC.

Arriving on PC/Mac come October 23rd, and then following on Xbox One and PS4 from November 7th, Clockwork City will be free to all ESO Plus members, whilst a 2000 crowns purchase will be required for everyone else.

The Clockwork City will enable travellers to head back to Tamriel through a new zone unlike any other – Sotha Sil’s legendary Clockwork City – as they investigate a new Daedric threat. Clockwork City promises around 10 hours of fresh Elder Scrolls stories and is packed with unforgettable architecture, strange creatures, and powerful hybrid monsters.

You’ll find a new Trial too, the Asylum Sanctorum, and that in itself will test the mettle of any 12-player group. New unique armor sets, customization items, crafting motifs, and more will also be present.

In addition to the base version, the Clockwork City Collector’s Bundle will also be available and will include the DLC game pack, the Clockwork Skeevaton pet, the Kagouti Fabricant mount, and Five Crown Experience Scrolls. Players can purchase the Collector’s Edition for 4,000 crowns via the in-game Crown Store.

We will of course remind you when the time comes for Xbox One players to get in to the action, but if you wish to grab a sneak peek at the content, you can do so by embarking on the prologue quest. In this, you’ll investigate prominent diviners, scholars, and planar archaeologists who are being murdered by their own shadows. You will also be able to travel to any local Mages Guild headquarters in Tamriel to find a note on a table titled “Order of the Eye Dispatch.” Reading the note will give the quest “Of Knives and Long Shadows,” and send players on their new adventure. Once complete, players will receive the “Clockwork Obscuros” memento in their Collection.

Don’t miss it!

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
