Top down, twin-stick shooting never gets old – and when there are a bunch of aliens coming your way, those long-term skills best be on point. With the launch of It Came from Space and Ate our Brains Remastered on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, you can be sure that those skills will be required too, as you blast your way to survival and put a halt to the brain-eating plans of the most merciless species.

Available to purchase and download today on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains first launched back in 2015, but now, with some remaster magic delivering new features, systems and the chance to hit scores higher than ever previously imagined, anyone tempted in to a new twin-stick feast will be in heaven.

Working with both Campaign and Survival opportunities for any lone alien hunter, It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains will see you blasting your way through a fearsome foe with all manner of weaponry available. With a starting pistol just about heavy enough to do some initial alien lifting, and the the likes of a shotgun, laser gun, machine gun and rocket launcher helping out when times get tough, there is certainly plenty of skill and tactical nous needed in order to not be overrun.

Of course, with any decent game of this era the chance to head in to matters in a cooperative style is also present. And in It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains Remastered that is found in the form of a number of co-op campaign missions that work for up to 4 players. But that’s not all and you should also expect to find a new soundtrack to help you feel the vibe, a new interface and – for those who played the game back in 2015 – a much-needed re-balance to the difficulty. That’s not to say this is going to be a walk in the park though, and just one check of our recent Let’s Play of It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains Remastered on Xbox One proves that.

Features include:

  • Six exciting co-op campaign missions for up to 4 players
  • Different alien types
  • Powerful weapons and special powers
  • An incredible techno soundtrack that serves as the perfect background for brain-eating mayhem

Tempted by what it brings? Fancy blasting these intergalactic pests back to where they came from? You can grab It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains Remastered on Xbox One from the Xbox Store right now. You should also find the game available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. £12.49 seems reasonable enough.
