More Cyberpunk 2077 details revealed alongside the E3 trailer

-

CD PROJEKT RED had a prime spot at the end of the Microsoft briefing to showcase their brand new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. Well now there are more details to share about the dark future of the game!

Best known for their The Witcher series, CD PROJEKT RED’s next big thing Cyberpunk 2077 is an open world, narrative-driven RPG set in the same universe as the classic pen & paper RPG system, Cyberpunk 2020. The game follows the story of a hired gun named V who’s on the up in the violent and dangerous metropolis of the corporate ruled future, Night City. Players will be able to decide upon V’s gender, visual appearance, character class and historical background in a robust character creation offering, with each choice potentially shaping the rest of the game.

Choices and consequences are a hallmark of the developers and so there’ll be plenty of difficult decisions to make, with knock on effects for entirety of Cyberpunk 2077, whilst roaming through the streets and its sky-scrapers. With dozens of hours of main story arc quests, and many more of additional activities to pursue, there’s always something to see and do in Night City. Players will experience all of it entirely through V’s eyes, with an interactive dialogue system that gives them greater narrative agency.

There’s no set release date for its launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, so for now we’ll simply leave you with the super cool trailer of Cyberpunk 2077 from E3 2018.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
