New FMV Murder Mystery prepares to shapeshift to PC and Console

If you like your FMV games, then you would no doubt love what Wales Interactive have been serving up over the last couple of years. Now though they’ve got together with D’Avekki Studios once more to reveal details of The Shapeshifting Detective.

Coming from the creators of The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker, The Shapeshifting Detective will release on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC in Qr 2018.

In it, you will get to play as a detective who can shapeshift into other characters. It is by doing so that you’ll get the chance to unlock secret conversations, private encounters and more, taking in over 1600 full HD video responses, a branching storyline and multiple options. See, when Dorata Shaw is found dead, and the prime suspects are three tarot card readers who can predict murder, it is left up to you to find our all the secrets!

The Shapeshifting Detective has been written by Lynda Cowles and Tim Cowles, and will be found starring Rupert Booth, Anarosa De Eizaguirre Butler (Contradiction) and Aislinn De’Ath (The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker), with features including:

– 1600+ full HD FMV videos.
– A large multi-location, multi-suspect world to explore.
– Shapeshift into nine other characters, or be yourself.
– Branching storyline and randomly chosen murderer for high replayability.
– In-game radio station featuring short dark fiction plays between visits.
– Any one of three random murderers helps to minimize spoilers.
– Shapeshift and your dialogue options are voiced by the original actors.
– Not all branching is binary. Push someone too far and discover a different reaction.
– Can’t get that vital clue yourself? Shapeshift into the Police Chief!
– Think your options are a trap? Refuse to speak to potentially unlock a hidden path.
