Not sure if you realised, but the release of Prey is just around the corner – today though, Bethesda have announced you’ll be able to play it, for free, ahead of its release date.
The free demo for Prey will be available from Thursday 27th April 2017 for both Xbox One and PS4 players to get involved in. It’ll give you the chance to board Talos I and play the opening hour of the game, ahead of its official launch on May 5th 2017.
The Prey Demo: Opening Hour will put you in the role of Morgan Yu, lead scientist aboard Talos I, as you get to work on a scientific breakthrough that is meant to alter humanity forever. What starts off as an exciting first day at work very quickly takes a dark turn. Finding yourself alone on board Talos I, a lavish but abandoned interstellar research facility, it doesn’t take long before you find out that aliens have overrun the station and are hunting down any surviving crew members. Yep, including you.
It’ll be up to you to uncover the mysteries of Talos I, fight the alien invasion and save humanity.
We’ll be sure to remind you not only of when the demo arrives, but when Prey hits our stores properly. For now though, check out the latest trailer below.
