The classic card game Munchkin today makes the transition from table top to small screen with the arrival of Munchkin: Quacked Quest on all the digital storefronts.
Featuring the same sense of humour and back-stabbing the tabletop card game has become famous for, players must compete against, and work together in order to reach the highest level.
Transitioning into a dungeon crawler, a team of up to four players travel through various levels of a dungeon completing objectives and claiming the spoils. Each level of the dungeon is randomly generated so no two games are the same!
Players can pick between four different races and classes, each with their own special skills. Then equip one of 20 different weapons to take down the 15 different enemies – excluding your friends that is – in a game that offers rich yet accessible gameplay.
The game is fully playable in local play, meaning the person you’re about to stab in the back must be in the same room as you. But fear not if you have no friends to play with, the game can be fully playable solo. And it wont insult you for playing on your own. Not too much, at least.
Munchkin: Quacked Quest is available to download now priced at £20.99. Buy it once though, and you can play this game on both your Xbox One and PC; Munchkin: Quacked Quest is another Xbox Play Anywhere title. Utilising the cloud storage means you can pick up where you left off on PC, and then continue on your Xbox. Failing that, PS4 and Nintendo Switch storefronts will also be on hand to deliver a download.
