Excitement is at an all-time high as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege gears towards its first co-op event – the highly anticipated Outbreak event. And it seems the guys over at Ubisoft are giving players the chance to jump in to the experience free of charge once more.
From February 15th to February 20th, those interested in getting involved in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be able to download and play the game free of charge on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Uplay and Steam.
Those who decide to jump in during this free period will find that any progress made will transfer over to the full game if you choose to purchase the full game afterwards – except for the Starter Edition of the game.
With the first content drop of Season 1, Year 3’s Operation Chimera closing in, this free period will provide players with the perfect opportunity to jump in and see just why Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has kept its players interested over the past few years. There is plenty of fun still to be had within the 6v6 matchups and the game’s Terrorist Hunt mode, so there is no reason not to get involved when the free play weekend arrives on February 15th.
