Unleash the hardcore ninja in you with N++ on Xbox One

by Neil Watton (neil363)October 4, 2017

Any gamer worth their salt will know of N+. In fact, the ninja themed momentum based platform puzzler is a bit of a legendary title in its own right. Now though the sequel is here and N++ promises to be bigger, better and more beautiful than before.

Available right now from the Xbox Games Store, N++ on Xbox One will once more see you trying to navigate your little ninja guy across multiple levels and through many obstacles. High score collection is again on the cards and it’ll only be when you start to fully embrace the fluid movement system required will you start to be able to reap the rewards.

No less than 4340 hand crafted levels have been included in N++ and when you take into account the fact custom levels and a full editor are in place, you can only see that good things will be coming from N++. The ability to share globally must also be another draw.

Local co-op mode is the icing on the already impressive cake, and should you like what you’re hearing then the Xbox Games Store is the place for you – provided you have a spare £11.99. We’ll have a full review up for you in not too long as well.

Game Description:

This is the long-awaited sequel to the legendary N+, rewritten from scratch to be bigger, better, and more beautiful in every way. N++ is a fast-paced, momentum-based platformer about darting around obstacles, narrowly evading enemies and collecting gold in a beautiful minimalist landscape. N++ is all about using your momentum to complete levels and get high scores, but in this sci-fi world, there’s a slew of inadvertently homicidal enemy robots trying to prevent you from completing your goal. Through the hand-crafted (NOT procedurally generated) levels, you’ll experience platforming at its most intense. Using only your fluid movement, you need to ‘solve’ each level and get to the exit. In addition to the lengthy and challenging single player campaign, we’ve packed a ton of features into this one last entry in the N series including: -4340 hand-made levels -Custom Levels, Level Editor & Global Level Sharing -Leaderboards and replays for every level (even the ones you make) -Local Co-op Mode (up to 4 players) -Local Competitive Mode (up to 4 Players) -Hardcore Mode, an intense single-player challenge which only the best ninjas will survive -Intense, hidden Secret challenges to discover -63 tracks by top electronic artists -119 different color palettes let you customize the game’s look and keep it fresh every time you play -and more!

About The Author
Neil Watton (neil363)

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360’s life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One. A massive racing fan, Forza 4 was the daddy of all Xbox titles but Forza Horizon 3 now trumps that. Online first person shooters are my hell….probably because my reactions are so poor, but give me a little Indie title and I’ll be in heaven.
