Need a reason to dive back in to Dead by Daylight? Well how does the offer of a Wild West themed map, a brand new Survivor and another Killer, suit? That’s exactly what you’ll be getting with the new Chains of Hate update.

Available today for Dead by Daylight, Behaviour Interactive have launched the latest update – that of Chains of Hate. Pushing the hit asymmetrical multiplayer horror experience to an altogether new level, the Dead by Daylight Chains of Hate addition will set you back $7.99, but you can be sure that the content within will more than cover that cost. At least you can be sure as long as this follows on nicely from the likes of the Stranger Things or SAW updates.

The Chains of Hate package brings in the highly-anticipated new killer, The Deathslinger, and his speargun with the ability to reel in his victims. But sitting on the other side of the table is the new survivor Zarina Kassir, a daring filmmaker with an incredible ability to stay quiet and manipulate sound. While full of health, Zarina can instantly heal other Survivors from dying to injured, or from injured to healthy.

Whilst it’s great to be able to take to Dead by Daylight with both a new Survivor and Killer, bringing this whole Wild West themed update together is a brand new map, with it introducing Dead Dawg Saloon, a settlement on a brutal frontier.

As you should know, Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror experience where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer, attempting to take down the four who play as Survivors.

If you wish to know more about Dead by Daylight then you should consider picking up the game on Xbox One from the Xbox Store. And then there’s always the opportunity to check out the latest goodies found in the Chains of Hate update by hitting up the latest trailer below.
