The dead rise again as new weapons, characters and missions come to Zombie Army 4

zombie army 4 terror lab

Thought you’d beaten back Hitler’s hordes for good? Think again as today Rebellion drop new weaponry, more characters and a Terror Lab mission to the zombie-filled warzones.

Prior to the launch of Zombie Army 4: Dead War on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Rebellion promised that this would be a game that would continue to grow, detailing the Season 1 post-launch content that would hit the game. Today the first few bits of that promise are coming to fruition with the arrival of Misson 1 – Terror Lab, alongside a number of new characters and weapon options.

Taking the new mission first and with Terror Lab we see the dead rise once more. This time around our intrepid zombie slayers are found heading to a mysterious laboratory, taking down zombiefied researchers and attempting to uncover the secrets behind the latest zombie scourge.

Working as the first new mission for Zombie Army 4: Dead War on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Terror Lab kicks off the Hell Cult three-part content drop with a mission that can be undertaken in either cooperative or single player modes. Just remember, whatever you thought had happened, the Dead War rages on.

You can pick up Mission 1 – Terror Lab for £5.59 right now from your favoured digital store, unless of course you previously splashed the cash on the Season 1 Pass, which sees it included.

Also included – or now also up for individual purchase – are a couple of new characters too. The American Sea Captain will set you back £3.79, but will allow you to go zombie bashing as Josiah, a mischievous sailor, who made himself invaluable to the Resistance when he deployed field troops on daring raids across the Mediterranean. Now though he’s found doing his part in the zombie kill squads of Italy, and so if you’ve exhausted all other avenues, will find Josiah present and correct, ready for duty.

Zombie Army 4 classic boris

Further, the character customisation opportunities continue with the Classic Boris Outfit for £2.49. This will let you relive the good old days when Boris took down Hitler for the very first time, pushing out his Classic Red Army Outfit to Zombie Army 4. This pack includes three new cosmetic items for Boris Medvedev; 1 Character Costume (ZAT Style Boris) and 2 Hats (Ushanka + Soviet Helmet).

Also included in Season Pass 1 or available individually are a few new weapons too. The M1 Semi-auto Carbine Bundle costs £3.29 and brings a lightweight, easy to use, M1 Semi-auto Carbine. Perfect for close-range combat and taking down enemies in seconds, this weapon bundle includes; The M1 Carbine along with 2 charms (Uncle Sam Hat + Baseball Bat) and 2 bespoke weapon skins (Painted US Flag + Baseball Leather).

But if you’re after something a little more well, simple, then the PPSH Submachine Gun Bundle is probably for you. Again costing £3.29 this reliable and powerful Soviet-made PPSH gives everything you need from a submachine gun – the chance to spray and pray. This weapon bundle contains the PPSH submachine gun, 2 additional charms (Russian Doll + Hammer/Sickle Badge) and a couple of lovely bespoke weapon skins (Russian Flag + Russian Doll).

Zombie Army 4 Molten Lava Weapon Skins

And then finally we get to the last new weapon pack – the Molten Lava Weapon Skins. Doing pretty much as they say on the tin, this £2.49 pack introduces the hottest zombie slayer in town – weaponry that has come straight from the fires of hell as you get the chance to apply a molten lava look to your loadout.

It goes without saying that in order to enjoy the new mission, the extra characters or any of the weaponry options then you’ll need the base game of Zombie Army 4: Dead War to hand. As previously mentioned, should you have picked up the Season Pass 1 previously then all of this becomes yours at no extra cost. Let us know in the comments what you think of this new gear!
