2K promised a whole host of free, post-launch content for WWE 2K Battlegrounds and the first batch of new additions is just around the corner. There are a total of 10 WWE Superstars, Legends and Hall of Famers on the way through updates, as well as various customisation items. Are you ready to find out more? We said ARE YOU READY? Then let’s have a peek at the details.
Beginning on 6th November, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) enter the squared circle and are immediately playable; unlike the other two arrivals, the master of the Jackhammer, Goldberg, and Batista, who must be unlocked using in-game currency. Those hoping to run the ropes as The Ultimate Warrior on 11th November will discover he’s also going to be locked away initially. Fortunately, Eddie Guerrero is bringing the Latino Heat and is accessible upon his introduction in tandem with Lita.
The final influx that’s officially been confirmed sees the six-time World Champion and two-time Hall of Famer Booker T spinaroonie his way into the game on 18th November. Unfortunately though, he will have to be purchased in-game, as will the record-breaking Women’s Champion Trish Stratus. You can still cause a bit of a ruckus straight away however, courtesy of Ruby Riott’s entrance into the fray. Each update will also include a selection of Superstar and Battleground arena customisation items, including the likes of outfits, face paint, arena designs, colour schemes and more.Â
The 10 new characters and 20 customisation items currently scheduled by 2K will rollout via automatic updates for WWE 2K Battlegrounds on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Stadia and PC.
