Previously only on PC, After You – Level Escape, if you want to use the full name, is now also on console.

A narrative-based puzzle adventure from the k148 Game Studio and JanduSoft team, After You places you in the shoes of Aron, a guy who wakes to find out that hs is not alone. The thing is, he’s not with his family nor his neighbours either. They’ve disappeared.

From there it’s up to you to help Aron work out what has happened to his village, taking in secrets, uncovering mysteries and enjoying the side stories that await. But there are puzzles too and After You revels in them, refusing to hold your hand, ensuring that you are left to try and fight your way through.

With 3 open world locations to take in, 10 puzzles that ramp in difficulty and much narrative to read through, the ÂŁ5.79 asking price feels pretty reasonable. Of course, we’ll only find out if it is by reviewing – stay tuned for some thoughts.

For now, hit up the Xbox Store to grab a download of After You – Level Escape for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) too.

Game Description:

You are Aron, a man who wakes up in his room and realizes that he is alone. Neither his family nor his neighbours are there. From there, Aron will begin a journey to try to understand what has happened. Over the course of three chapters, Aron will reveal the deepest and most humane secrets of the people who inhabited these places. After You – Level Escape is a game of puzzles included in the narrative, they are not easy puzzles, you will not have help, you will not be able to save when you want. Its gameplay is based on exploration, reading notes and deduction, to solve the puzzles.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
