Xbox Games: News, Latest Releases & More

The Xbox, the first system in Microsoft’s Xbox line of gaming consoles, is a home video game console. On Nov. 15, 2001, it was made available in North America as Microsoft’s entry into the gaming console industry. Australia, Europe, and Japan followed in 2002. It competes with Sony’s PlayStation 2 and Nintendo’s GameCube as a sixth-generation platform. Additionally, it was the first significant system made by an American company since the 1993 launch of the Atari Jaguar.

This week has seen a surge in competition for games like Dota 2, League of Legends: Wild Rift, SMITE, and others worldwide. If you’re also a fan, you can actively participate in these games rather than merely watching them as a spectator by placing bets on your favorite Esports teams at gg.bet/en/dota2.

Popular Xbox Games in 2022

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Fortnite are still top, but Overwatch 2 has climbed directly after them, knocking Minecraft down. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga rejoins the list a little farther down after being added to Xbox Game Pass. They are closely followed in popularity by Grand Theft Auto V, Rocket League, and Fifa 23. Following the launch of its new Season of the Seraph, Destiny 2 has jumped back into the top ten just below, while Forza Horizon 5 has fallen to even lower positions. The popularity of Battlefield 2042 has declined as well. After receiving its most fabulous content update, Disney Dreamlight Valley, which is accessible in Game Preview via Xbox Game Pass, makes another return a bit farther down. Elden Ring‘s popularity also soared after the free Colosseum update included additional PvP modes.

Need for Speed Unbound, After Ark: Survival Evolved, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition are a few more popular games from this year.
