Hal Curry

I've been an Xbox gamer for as long as I can remember, and that is my platform of choice. I can be found diving into the latest RPGs, shredding some tread in the Forza Horizon games, taking on some tricky situations in puzzle games and blasting hordes of enemies in FPS titles. You won't see me playing simulator, sports or horror games though! Gamertag is HalScape, feel free to add me 🙂

Mask of Mists Xbox Series X Review

All in all, Mask of Mists is an okay action-adventure game, but is a fantastic puzzle game. There’s enough complexity in the puzzles to make them interesting and give you a sense of accomplishment, but they are simple enough to not be frustrating.

Space Station Sprint Review

Space Station Sprint is lacking polish and feels like something in early access. There’s a number of bugs here and the simple gameplay can leave you feeling bored after an hour or two of playing. With missions being essentially the same throughout, there’s no real sense of accomplishment. It’ll tide you over for a bit, but don’t go in expecting anything more than that.

Deadly Days Review

Deadly Days won’t blow your socks off but it will scratch that rogue-lite itch. If you want something to keep you occupied for a good number of hours, love retro-styled graphics and have no issues with dying over-and-over again, then this is definitely a title for you.

Cleaning up the Ridden with Back 4 Blood’s Open Beta

With Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock Studios brought a new way to gather your friends and slay some zombies. Evolve took that formula and replaced the zombies with alien creatures. Now, TRS is at it again with Back 4 Blood. Returning to the world of the undead,  the open beta for Back 4 Blood has given us a glimpse of what we can expect when the game launches fully in October.

Riven Review

The upgrades to the movement, the enhanced visuals, and the tweaked puzzles are sublime. If you loved Myst or the original Riven, this is a must-buy; a wonderful experience held back by only a few minor niggles.

Dracamar Review

Dracamar is a 3D platforming treat.

The Coma 3: Bloodlines Review

I enjoyed returning to this world in The Coma 3: Bloodlines, taking in how the story ties itself up. I liked how the game evolved, particularly the developers' willingness to try new things, like sharing the narrative load across three protagonists to create a much larger story.

Pinball FX – Williams Pinball Volume 10 Review

Pinball FX - Williams Pinball Volume 10 revives three more tables from the archives, with each given the usual treatment. This collection is a little weaker than some of those which have come before, despite the excellent Diner standing out.

Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition Review

It’s not quite a remake, yet Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition proves to be the definitive port of the original with a few enhancements.
