If you’re a fan of the sim world, where you need to be involved in every decision, micro-managing every detail in every department, then you will have an amazing time with SimAirport. But should you be coming along for your first experience of the genre, this is perhaps not the best game to start with.

It may take a couple of levels, but you’ll get hooked by Tin Hearts. The world, gameplay ideas, and touching story are all good enough to reel you in.

Original and intriguing while at the same time being strange and beguiling, No One Lives Under the Lighthouse works some old-school visuals in the best of ways.

Stranded: Alien Dawn is a very good survival game, one that builds in tower defense and sim-like elements too.

TramSim: Console Edition is another interesting and unique experience in the transport sim world.

Bramble: The Mountain King is hugely enjoyable, and the Nordic world feels like a great place to spend some solid hours.

Project Nightmares Case 36: Henrietta Kedward is a horror experience that should be very pleased with itself. The story and setup are unique and intriguing, the scares come thick and fast and there are some nicely designed puzzles and gameplay mechanics.

If you’re a fan of design, engineering, or sim games, then you should have a lot of fun with Tin Can.

Horror Tale 1: Kidnapper is a good experience; a likeable stealth game that is fun to play for a couple of hours.

The story and over-the-top action are what makes Mia and the Dragon Princess the fun thriller of a game that it is.

Varney Lake is a charming addition to an interesting game franchise. Seeing returning characters come back with a fresh new story to tell, working an X-Files and Stranger Things vibe, isn't a bad thing at all.

From the premise alone, Ayre and the Crystal Comet raised interest levels, but from there, things go wrong.

Are you ready for an addiction? DECEIVE INC. may well provide it.

Not for Broadcast is an amazing FMV achievement. Fans of the genre should most definitely check this one out as it delivers ambitious humour. Funny, charming, and brilliantly performed, Not for Broadcast sets a high bar and I can't wait to see what follows it. 

DE:EXIT – Eternal Matters is a very pleasant surprise.
