Celebrate Oktoberfest and more with the Truck Driver German Paint Jobs DLC

We’ve seen SOEDESCO push out multiple updates for Truck Driver since launch, with free patches fixing up the oddities and paid DLC bringing additional customisation to the cab. It’s the latter which is being moved to the fore today as we get the chance to celebrate Oktoberfest and more with the German Paint Jobs DLC.

It’s the simple things that please in life and with Truck Driver, there is plenty of that. Following on from the USA Paint Jobs, and then the French offerings, it’s now time to immerse yourself in good old German culture.

The Truck Driver – German Paint Jobs DLC will set you back £2.49, but for that low price you’ll get access to no less than six new liveries for your trucks. As the name suggests – and seriously, we’d hope you’d have realised by now – these come in the form of some of the most iconic German structures, celebrations and more.

The German flag is obviously present, as is the German Black Eagle and the entirety of the Berlin skyline for good measure. But then we also find access to a livery inspired by the Brandenburg Gate, the Neuschwanstein Castle and everyone’s favourite German pastime, Oktoberfest.

If you’re looking to brighten up your Truck Driver experience with some new style then the Truck Driver – German Paint Jobs DLC should be something to consider. Remember that you’ll need a copy of the base game to hand prior to purchasing this, but from then you are good to go (the Xbox Store page for the DLC is right here). You’ll find the game available on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch natively, but it is also playable on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 too.

Let us know in the comments which livery you throw on to your trucks.

DLC Description:

Customize your truck in typical German style. Switch it up between six unique paint jobs that give a glimpse into the German culture.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
