City Limits on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch platforms is a tile-based puzzle game that has graced the PC audience for coming up to a year now. Developed by SpaceMyFriend and published under JanduSoft, all City Limits asks of you is to have a keen eye for architecture, and to build up this desolate island into a thriving community.
As far as complexity is concerned, Cities: Skylines this is not. With a focus on chill and relaxing gameplay, there is no lose state involved. Instead you must cover the island with buildings as efficiently as possible, to attain the highest of scores.
Where a slight puzzle element comes in is when you can combo up rows of buildings to maximise use of the land. With every turn, a monstrous entity spreads across tiles, consuming them and wasting away the land. The goal is to therefore make use of the most space possible. Easy!

Whilst, of course, you may choose to stick on your own playlist or podcast during gameplay, City Limits does include ten lo-fi tunes to sway along to.
Furthermore, the presence of multiple game modes, each slightly switching up the action, as well as online leaderboards will have you returning often. You can also leave the game during a run, and all progress will be saved.
