There have been card games to explore dungeons, card games to “Catch ‘em all”, even card games to get you drunk before a night out (my personal favourite). Magic Nations – Strategy Card Game arrives today on Xbox to introduce a new way to play with cards. How about a card game where you can conquer an entire fantasy world?
Collect cards from six different races: Amazons, Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Necromancers and Orcs to create a diverse army to challenge any and all. Each race has their own strengths and weaknesses but hopefully a diverse band of warriors can help negate all the negatives.
These six races come in four different card types: Regular, magic, legendary and ancient. Again, these will all come with their own unique strengths and weaknesses.

Magic Nations arrival on Xbox opens the game up to additional possibilities with the inclusion of online multiplayer and crossplay. Play against PC, Nintendo Switch and mobile players. You can also trade and sell cards you no longer require with players and computer-characters alike to create your ultimate army.
Magic Nations – Strategy Card Game is on the Xbox Store now priced at £8.39. It looks to get rid of unnecessary and complicated rules for a much simpler and streamlined card battling game. Does that dumb it down too much though? Stay tuned for our review coming soon.
