PC players have been loving the cutesy adventure known as Alchemy Garden for nearly a year now, with no promise of a release onto console. Well, us console gamers can rest easy, as today MadSushi’s take on the life sim genre makes the leap over.
Alchemy 101
Where we have created a lush garden in Stardew Valley, explored a sprawling village in My Time At Portia, and immersed ourselves in dozens of other life sim worlds, within Alchemy Garden on Xbox you’ll be getting your witch’s hat on and brewing up your own potions!
Starting off by creating your own unique alchemist from the colourful character creation system, you’ll then be whisked off to your own garden to grow all sorts of herbs and plants.
The overall aim, of course, is to head over to your cauldron, mix in these natural medicines, and create all sorts of potions. Health potions, love potions, and more are all available for creation. You’ll also have to discover new plants and minerals out in the big wide world, unlocking new recipes in the process.

But what’s the point in a love potion if there’s nobody to fall in love with?
Luckily, all residents of the local area are chomping at the bit to check out the hottest alchemy shop in town, and the business side of things makes up a huge portion of Alchemy Garden.
