DiRT Rally will be arriving in April and today, Codemasters and Koch Media has dropped a new gameplay trailer alongside details of additional content including the Legend Edition.
Releasing come April 5th 2016 on Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC (DVD), DiRT Rally will come with all the content included in the Steam Early Access programme as well as a few new additions. Notably, New Classic Mini and Super 1600 series which will introduce players to the thrills and spills of rallycross racing with 21 advanced video guides helping gamers maximise their rally potential.
You’ll be flying up a graveled Pikes Peak and will have access to three of Colin McRae’s most iconic liveries as you do so. Alongside that, seven extra cars have been added. These are:
- Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak
- Renault 5 Turbo
- Renault Alpine A110
- Opel Corsa Super 1600
- Peugeot 207 S1600
- Renault Clio S1600
- Mini Classic Rallycross
Get the game pre-ordered now and you’ll be able to pick up the Legend Edition, including a full length documentary  – Colin McRae: Rally Legend, as it tells the story of the man himself. The Legend Edition wil also include the Fully Loaded MINI Pack, giving you access to the MINI Cooper S and an exclusive livery from the start, whilst digital pre-orders will also inlcude the Fully Loaded Rallycross Pack featuring the Mini Classic Rallycross.
It all promises to signal a return to form for Codemasters. Fingers crossed DiRT Rally delivers!
