We’re all up for a bit of storytelling whilst we game, yet as Violett Remastered releases on Xbox, there’s a chance those narrative limits will be breached with an Alice in Wonderland styled affair that keeps twisting.

Pushed out to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via the Forever Entertainment team, Violett Remastered follows up on a PC through Steam launch to arrive on Xbox. And now it’s here, a whole new range of players can get eyes on the story within.

It tells the tale of Violett, a young, rebellious teenager who has moved with her parents to a spooky old house, right out in the middle of nowhere. Do you need us to go any further? Well, we will, because you see within this house is a mousehole and as Violett pears through she’s dragged off to a completely new world; one that appears in the blink of an eye.

It’s up to you to help Violett navigate her way through this weird world in hope that she can ultimately be reunited with her parents. But the journey ahead will be a dangerous one, full of riddles, puzzles and fascination.

Throw in the now standard hidden areas and collectibles, and we’ve got high hopes for Violett Remastered on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, even if it hasn’t managed to yet garner much in the way of positive interest from the Steam launch on PC

We’ll be sure to let you know how it goes, dropping a full review of Violett Remastered on Xbox your way in the coming days. Should you wish to pick the game up in the meantime, get over to the Xbox Store, splash the ÂŁ8.39 required and be ready to be thrown into a world like no other.

Game Description:

Dragged by her parents, a young and rebellious teenage girl – Violett, moves to an old spooky house in the middle of nowhere. Forced away from her friends and life in the city; she imagines how boring life in countryside will be: spending day after day, bored in her room with absolutely nothing to do. But what she cannot imagine, is that in just few moments, she’ll have the adventure of her life. Rack your brain on intricate puzzles. Use the power of telekinesis to get you out of your troubles. Fight the evil spider queen that wants to make you her new trophy. Use your touch to roam the beautiful and slightly psychedelic world, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, Dali and other great works.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
