Embrace the car culture of The Crew Motorfest

The car culture of The Crew Motorfest

It’s been the best part of a decade since Ubisoft first delivered The Crew to players. They then followed up with the sequel in 2018 . But today it’s about going all-in and embracing the car culture of The Crew Motorfest. Start your engines – this is going to be a wild ride.

Honestly, we love The Crew. Admittedly it never managed to reach the heady heights of a Forza Horizon. But for dipping in and out at will, it was more than capable of doing the job. With The Crew Motorfest, we’re expecting Ubisoft to have taken everything that learnt from The Crew 2 before stepping on the gas and moving up through the gears.

Hawaii awaits

Available right now for players to get involved with, The Crew Motorfest whisks us off to the island of O’ahu, Hawaii.

It’s here where we get to embrace pretty much all the intricacies of car culture. Jumping behind the wheel of numerous vehicles and having fun. The intensity of race wins will be thrust upon us. Whilst the collection of some of the most iconic of cars will be front and centre.

For others it’ll be the chance to explore. Jumping off the tarmac and hitting the off-road scene should allow you to do whatever, and go wherever, you want in The Crew Motorfest. Only then will all your skills be known.

We’re hyped for The Crew Motorfest. We hope it fulfils the desires of an open world racer like Forza Horizon 5 has done for the last few years. With the rebooted Forza Motorsport preparing the drivers for on-track action, there certainly feels like there’s a void to fill. The Crew Motorfest should well be able to do that.

What to do in The Crew Motorfest on Xbox

We’ll of course let you know how it plays in full review but the key features you should keep in mind include…

  • EXPLORE A VIBRANT HAWAIIAN OPEN WORLD – The Crew Motorfest has settled down in one of the most breathtaking places on Earth: the island of O’ahu, Hawaii. Join high-speed street races through the bustling city of Honolulu, test your skills off-road on the ashy slopes of a volcano, or master the perfect curve on the tracks.
  • CELEBRATE ALL THE FACETS OF CAR CULTURE – Enjoy a variety of thrilling driving activities and choose how you want to have fun with your cars! Discover the playlists and dive into thematic campaigns that will immerse you in the most exciting car culture universes, including American muscle, Japanese-style street racing, and legendary machines of the past!
  • COLLECT THE MOST LEGENDARY CARS – Compete in intense driving races, show off your own style, collect the most iconic cars, and much more! Master every driving challenge and fill your collection with the most legendary vehicles ever created.

So how do you get involved?

The official street date of The Crew Motorfest is September 15th 2023. It’ll be playable across Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.

But should you be willing to jump in with one of the more expensive editions of The Crew Motorfest, you’ll find access opening up right now. Literally, right now! What are you waiting for?

The 3-day early access is available in The Crew Motorfest Ultimate Edition for £99.99 from the Xbox Store. You’ll also find the Year 1 Pass chucked in (expect new cars each and every month for a year). As well as the Fitted Ultimate Pack. The Gold Edition of the game does similar, just removing the Fitted Ultimate Pack and dropping the price down to £84.99.

Both of those versions will ensure you can take to the wheel today.

Alternatively, the Standard Edition of The Crew Motorfest will kick off for £69.99 from the 14th.

Which version of The Crew Motorfest will you be playing?

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
