Want to study the arcane arts, become a great Wizard and take to the skies alongside other sorcerers? Then the enchanted world of Citadel: Forged With Fire might just be ideal for you, and it’s set for a launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam), this October!
Set in the enchanted world of Ignus, this magical massive online sandbox RPG aims to teach aspiring wizards the art of spellcasting, spellcrafting, broomstick flying and extensive building. Only then will you be ready to make allies in order to form a House and then an empire in Citadel: Forged With Fire. Ignus contains all sorts of environments including dense forests, craggy mountains, festering swamps, frozen tundra and dangerous caverns. Ultimately, you’ll want to experience the Forsaken Crypts and come face to face with challenging bosses, but only the mightiest wizards can overcome those.
And you can use your Wizardly prowess to take to the skies and cast from above or simply travel throughout the world. Any wand or weapon can be enchanted too, with the option to select the desired effect and add the elemental essence to craft amazing spells, thus aiding you in combat, beast taming and resource harvesting. Whenever you want to take a break from battle, you can always compete in the official broomstick-based sports of Ignus. You can even craft a custom broomstick, tame and mount dragons and giant eagles or use alchemy to levitate without the aid of beast or broom – that’s the power of magic!
“With three major content updates and more than 90 patches, we worked directly with the community during Early Access to ensure that Citadel was massive in scale and rich with content in preparation for it’s full launch,” said Alex Tintor, managing director of Blue Isle Studios. “Three huge boss dungeons, the refinement of our broomstick flight and addition of the Broomstick Sports combined with enhancements to our spell crafting system will envelop players into this magical realm.”
Developed and published by Blue Isle Studios, Citadel: Forged With Fire will launch worldwide via retailers and digital stores on 11th October for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam). Get in touch and let us know if you’ll be grabbing a broomstick to fly to Ignus…
