We’ve long lost count of the sheer number of Solitaire games available on Xbox, but that doesn’t mean we won’t take another. This time it’s the Dreamland Solitaire series that comes to the fore once more – but can you handle the Dragon’s Fury?
Dreamland Solitaire: Dragon’s Fury is the latest solitaire game to land on Xbox through the ChiliDog Interactive and Alawar Entertainment teams. It follows a recent release of the bog-standard Dreamland Solitaire. The thing is, the teams are infusing a Dragon’s Fury now.Â
A narrative to Solitaire?
Priced at £4.99 and available from the Xbox Store as we type, Dreamland Solitaire: Dragon’s Fury tries to tell a tale of when a dragon came to town. Burning down a little fairy’s home town, it’s up to you to try and help put things right. And you’ll only be able to do that by playing your finest Solitaire hands.
Working a variety of card arrangements, you’ll need to overcome all manner of obstacles in Dreamland Solitaire: Dragon’s Fury. You’ll do it in usual solitaire fashion though; removing cards one at a time, higher or lower than those which have passed.
We’re not expecting Dreamland Solitaire: Dragon’s Fury to offer too much more than the norm. At least not aside from that tale. And it certainly feels like this could be super close to the previous Dreamland Solitaire experience. But hey, when has the chance to play some cards ever been one to turn down? I mean, it’s why we’re addicted to Balatro.Â

When a dragon’s fire lights up the night sky and burns a lowly village to the ground, only one fairy can set things right. You must take the role of this enchanting creature as she completes quests in her search of why this tragedy occurred.
To complete your journey, you’ll need to clear the screen of various arrangements of cards by uncovering and playing cards that are one higher or lower than the card at the top of the deck.
This seemingly simple game contains clever depths, especially when combined with tricky obstacles, the tools that can remove them and your nefarious enemy – a spider who will spin her web around your most desired cards!
