FIFA-17

FIFA 17 will come with a whole new game engine and innovative gameplay influenced by four new football ambassadors. Luckily for us, EA have dropped the first little details alongside a full release date.

Being seen in all its glory at the upcoming EA Play event on June 12th 2016, FIFA 17 will arrive with the Frostbite engine powering it. Delivering an authentic, true to life experience, it’ll take players to new football worlds and introduces fans to characters full of depth and emotion.

To help deliver that experience, FIFA 17 will also introduce four new football ambassadors who have influenced complete innovation in the action on the pitch. James Rodriguez of Real Madrid C.F., Anthony Martial of Manchester United, Eden Hazard of Chelsea FC, and Marco Reus of Borussia Dortmund are four world-class attacking footballers who are capable of changing any game. They all worked with EA SPORTS to bring to life the gameplay innovation which will be revealed at EA Play. The ambassadors also appear in the FIFA 17 pre-order offer as loan players in FIFA 17 Ultimate Team

“Frostbite unlocks a whole new world of possibilities for the FIFA franchise and its fans,” said David Rutter, VP and Executive Producer. “We have never been as excited as we are today about the future of football and the experiences we are going to deliver in FIFA 17.”

With FIFA 17 set for release in North America on Sept 27th and then worldwide from Sept 29th 2016, gamers on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 should already be getting excited. Don’t forget as well, that fans who pre-order FIFA 17 Super Deluxe Edition can get up to 40 FIFA Ultimate Team Jumbo Premium Gold Packs, Team of the Week loan players, and other FUT content, whilst EA Access members will get the usual Early Access.

We’ll have more for you soon. Real soon!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
