xbox game pass

Xbox Game Pass brings the fun today, with two games that will have you giggling and screaming like you were infants again: It Takes Two (PC, Console and Cloud) and Kill It With Fire (PC, Console and Cloud).

It Takes Two is superb, so follow this three-step plan for getting the most of it. Number one, find someone to play it with that you love dearly, to the degree that you both get a kick out of your characters squabbling throughout. This can be couch co-op or online: it doesn’t matter. Number two, find two evenings in a row that you can clear out completely to dedicate to a fantastic and vibrant adventure. Number three, try to ignore the weird, slightly annoying Book of Love that follows you throughout the game. And bingo bango: you have the perfect environment for loving It Takes Two, one of our games of the year (we’re guessing. But we will make sure it is with threats and bribery).

As an unusually suitable partner to It Takes Two, you can also download and play Kill It With Fire on Game Pass from today. It may only be one player, but you might well get a kick from watching your partner squirming and screaming as tarantulas and other spiders burst out of cupboards. Grab a flamethrower and nail gun and take out these unexpected arachnids, in a game that we thoroughly loved, giving it 4/5 and calling it “original, preposterous, but more importantly an absolute hoot”.

Also coming out for Game Pass in November are some with much anticipation – Football Manager 2022 (9th November on Console, Cloud and PC), Forza Horizon 5 (9th November on Console, Cloud and PC), Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition (11th November on Console) and One Step from Eden (11th November on Console and PC).

And the following games are going to be unceremoniously kicked off Game Pass on November 15th: Final Fantasy VIII HD, Planet Coaster, Star Renegades, Streets of Rogue, The Gardens Between and River City Girls.
