The naval warfare experience featuring fast-paced 9v9 battles in heading to consoles next year, but now developers Wargaming have dropped the first World of Warships: Legends trailer at Gamescom for us to peruse.
World of Warships: Legends is set to be an action-packed affair as players take command of some of history’s most iconic warships for a spot of naval combat, blasting the other manmade sea monsters to smithereens. All of the warships are recreated with great accuracy, whilst the rest of the game is looking to make the most of the Xbox One, Xbox One X, PlayStation4 and PlayStation4 Pro specs, to ensure the visuals are stunning. It also features a variety of different commanders, each with their own playstyle and perks. Players must not only level the commanders up to make their fleet more effective in battle, but also build a collection of these heroes so they can be used to great success on several different ships with varying playstyles.
“The game has been built with console gamers in mind and to fit their needs. Battles are shorter and more action-packed with smaller teams,” states Victor Kislyi, Founder and CEO of Wargaming. “The UI has been specifically created to give the most player-friendly experience and the frontline of our engineering team has been hard at work completely overhauling the game engine making everything bigger, brighter and more shiny on consoles.”
You’ll be able to get involved in the 9v9 naval battles of World of Warships: Legends in 2019 when it launches for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
