Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is now on Xbox

five nights at freddy security breach launch

At the backend of 2020, a host of Five Nights at Freddy’s games arrived on Xbox. Now, some two years later, another pops up. Are you ready to experience Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach on Xbox?

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is the latest FNaF game to pop up onto the Xbox Store. This one is fully optimised for the new-gen consoles of Series X|S, with Smart Delivery in tow, ensuring that no matter what Xbox console you are on, you’ll be found playing the finest version possible.

It costs £33.49, which is a serious shift from the £6.69 that the older games arrived with. But Security Breach promises to take the whole Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise to new levels, continuing to scare players silly.

We first heard that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach would be coming to Xbox back in June of this year, and it’s allowed to build sufficient hype to ensure that now, as the year starts to come to a close, the animatronic weirdnesses come to the fore. Promising to deliver the next chapter in fear – and if you’ve played any of the previous games, you should know what to expect – Security Breach has you playing as Greogry, a young boy who is trappped inside Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex. It’s up to you to help Gregory survive the night. It won’t be easy.

See, this Pizzaplex is haunted and as night-time falls the animatronics that call it home come to life, hunting down anyone – and anything – that may not be the norm. The only way to stop these guys is by making the most of the security cameras which are in play, helping you survey things and work your route away from danger.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach promises to let you explore like never before, but whether you actually want to or not will be up for debate. We’ve been scared silly over the last couple of years thanks to Freddy, and we’re not sure we’re particularly ready for another chapter.

If you disagree though and cannot wait to drop in to Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, then you’ll find the key features of this one sitting as…

  • THE HUNTERS AND THE HUNTED – Once nighttime protocols are initiated, the animatronics at Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex will relentlessly pursue all intruders. Glamrock Chica, Roxanne Wolf, Montgomery Gator, and the Pizzaplex’s security guard, Vanessa, will turn over every Cotton Candy Pizza Stand if they have to – it’s not wise to stay in one place for too long.
  • ADAPT TO SURVIVE – Access the building’s security cameras to survey the environment and plan your route through danger. Distract enemies by knocking over paint cans and toys – just slip away before enemies are drawn to your location. Hop into hiding spots and allow danger to pass, or try to outrun your pursuers. Play your way, but be prepared to adapt.
  • EXPLORE AND DISCOVER – Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex offers a variety of attractions for guests to enjoy – Monty Golf, Roxy Raceway, Bonnie Bowl, the sewers, and… Sewers? The Pizzaplex is vast and has no shortage of goodies to discover.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is on the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. If you dare!
