One of our favourite ever TV commercials came about just prior to the release of Forza Horizon 2. Well, the Forza guys are back and this time they are promoting Forza 6 in a stunning way.
‘Legacy’ won’t be shown on your screens until this weekend’s F1 Italian GP, but you can watch it before that by checking it out below.
A celebration of the racing genre, tracing over 40 years of breakthroughs in technology and design that have moved the medium forward in its evolution, the ad starts off with Gran Trak 10 (Atari, 1974), Pole Position (Bandai Namco 1982), RC Pro Am (Rare, 1987), Chase HQ (Taito, 1988), and Ridge Racer (Bandai Namco, 1993) before reaching the pinnacle with Forza Motorsport 6.
Starring the 2017 Ford GT and accompanied by “Danger! High Voltage” performed by the Electric Six, the ad directed by Michael Spiccia can be seen below. Filled with iconic moments, it’s pretty damn decent!
