Activision have once more teamed up with an iconic Hollywood director to build the hype for Destiny: The Taken King just that little but more. You really should watch the live action launch trailer…right now preferably!
Teaming up with Bungie, 72andSunny, Digital Doman and RESET, Activision have today released a blockbuster live action launch trailer, aimed at one thing…building the excitement leading up to the launch of the first major expansion to the Destiny universe.
The Taken King will release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4 come 15th September. You can check out the live action trailer, entitled “Evil’s Most Wanted” below. Directed by Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion, TRON: Legacy), the trailer features a Fireteam of Guardians, accompanied by their ‘Ghost’ companion, adventuring to take on the vengeful King Oryx and his army. The spot is set against “Black Dog” by Led Zeppelin.
You killed his son. Now Oryx, The Taken King, wants revenge. Gather your Fireteam and take on the greatest threat this universe has seen.
