Monster Jam Showdown
Monster Jam Showdown is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC

Love nothing more than getting behind the wheel of some of the biggest monster trucks? Come this August will be a showdown like no other, with the release of Monster Jam Showdown.

Monster Jam Showdown is the next from a prolific Milestone team, as they join forces with Feld Motor Sports to deliver a larger-than-life motorsports experience. They’ve revealed some of that action in a new trailer too.

A showdown of monster trucks

Coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on August 29th is Monster Jam Showdown. There’s going to be an early access period for the most dedicated too, dropping three days earlier on the 26th.

We think you should kick back and watch the trailer right now, as you get the opportunity to understand more behind the Freestyle, off-road races and various game modes.

In Freestyle, players will get to perform all the spectacular tricks that contribute to making Monster Jam a one-of-a-kind event. Dedicated tutorials will help experts as well as novices to master the most extreme stunts such as wheelies, donuts, or bicycles, both inside stadiums based on real venues and in themed environments inspired by the American great outdoors. Broadening the fun beyond the official locations and events, off-road races will exalt the arcade soul of the game. Thanks to the boost, destructible objects, crazy track designs, and extreme weather conditions, players will experience immediate and unpredictable scenarios.

Then you’ve got the Showdown Tour too, a non-linear career experience with tons of events, players can explore eight different game modes across three original biomes recalling the wilds of Death Valley, Colorado, and Alaska.

Split-screen too

Fans looking for competition will also have plenty of options to prove themselves. Split-screen will enable thrilling duels with family and friends, whereas a number of online-only events will grant dramatic challenges.

Sold? You will be once you take in that trailer. But make sure you are prepared for the Monster Jam Showdown this August.

If you can’t wait that long, go and play Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 in the meantime.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
