The last time Zen Studios let us loose with an arsenal of weapons to defend our castle was in 2014’s CastleStorm Definitive Edition. That’s about to change as CastleStorm II is here to bring its cartoonish and medieval mix of genres to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. It’ll also be venturing onto PlayStation 4 in just a few days, so almost everyone will be able to enjoy the brutal action, whimsical characters, and zombie sheep. Wait, ZOMBIE SHEEP!?
CastleStorm II is the charming sequel that combines strategic, kingdom-conquering elements with tower defense and ferocious combat. The heroes of this world, the Kingdom, must contend with the horrible evil forces of the Undead, causing pure chaos and delightful destruction in the process. That means the brave knights, magical sorceresses and glorious griffins are up against actual corpses, horsemen without heads, and all the other vile creatures born of necromancy.
Whose side will you take in the devastating conflict? Well, the presence of two story-driven campaigns lets you plot a path to glory for both sides in the raging war. Get ready to build an empire, command your troops and even take control of your loyal combatants on the frontline.
