Back in 2020, as the pandemic was in full swing, Abramelin Games launched Injection π23 ‘No Name, No Number’ onto the unsuspecting world. A classic horror experience with more than a hint of Resident Evil about it, the tone it set was a good one. Now Abramelin Games are back with the follow-on – Injection π23 ‘Ars regia’.
Available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S today, as well as on PS4 and PS5 should you be that way inclined, Injection π23 ‘Ars regia’ is the second part of the Injection π23 trilogy – and yes, that does mean that there’s another chapter looking to fill things out a little further down the line.
Injection π23 ‘Ars regia’ pretty much takes what was present in ‘No Name, No Number’ and runs with it, scratching the survival horror itch which has been annoying you for the best part of a couple of years. It sees you whisked back off to a desolate town, all as the biggest of nightmares begins to unfold. Can you get through it? Only time will tell.
Having obviously been inspired by the likes of Resi from back in the day, the Abramelin Games team are once again thrusting that survival horror right in your face. With terrifying creatures to take on and plenty of puzzles to solve, should you have ‘enjoyed’ – we’re not sure that’s the right word – Injection π23 ‘No Name, No Number’ then getting involved in Injection π23 ‘Ars regia’ is probably going to be a no-brainer.
You’ll find the game on the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for £24.99, whilst it’s on the PlayStation Store as well. It’s totally next-gen optimised too.
Stay tuned for a full review from us in the very near future. We’re just putting together our final thoughts right now.
