Puzzle games are pretty much two-a-penny on Xbox, but not many of those combine cat-themed stories with bento box making. But inbento does, and that’s why you should be playing it right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Available to purchase and download right this second on either Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, inbento is a puzzler with a bit of a difference. Well, two differences actually as this combines the fun of being a cat parent with the needs to arrange – and no doubt rearrange – food in your bento box.
Sound strange? Yes it is, but it’s damn good too and without spoiling too much – mostly in the hope that you read our full review of inbento on Xbox from start to finish – the big 5/5 doesn’t get attached to a game all too often. It does here though.
120 odd puzzles await you in inbento as you attempt to prepare tasty bento dishes as best you can. Fitting them all into specific lunchboxes is the key to what we have here, sticking to the recipes in the process, and it’s this which delivers an altogether relaxing affair.
It’s helped by the charming visuals, the silent tale which combines cat life and parenthood, and a pretty chill soundtrack too.
