Ever ordered a takeaway and whilst you are eating it wishing it was vegetables instead? No, me either, but sometimes a pleasant reminder that vegetables exist and are actually quite tasty in themselves never hurt anybody. And that is exactly what this next game does. Mr. Brocco and Co. are here, out today on Xbox and PlayStation.

Firstly, we need to properly introduce our heroes: Mr. Broccoli and Super Asparagus. They have decided to team up together to stop the invasion of fast food in their hometown. Take the fight to the burgers, chips, fried chicken and more in this 2D platform adventure.

Both sentient vegetables are playable characters, though unfortunately there is no co-op play. And unlike the stealth-like greens in Kamikaze Veggies, those on offer here are much more family friendly.

Mr. Brocco and Co. can remind kids of the value of vegetables as sort of a fun educational tool. But it can also be used to boost your Gamerscore balance with another easy 1000G. Only this time around it is completely guilt free!

Mr. Brocco and Co. is on the Xbox Store now priced at £4.19. Our review will be on its way very soon, once our parents have let us leave the dining table after finishing our veggies. It’s only be 20+ years, but we’re nearly there.

Game description

A couple of healthy food enjoyers — Mr Broccoli and Super Asparagus — team up to stop the junk food invasion in their hometown. Something goes terribly wrong when hotdogs, burgers and other way-too-much-calories storm their favorite city. They need to stand up and fight! Pleasant gameplay, exciting boss fights and loads of positive emotions await you. Pick one of two characters and show ‘em all what healthy food is made of! This game also serves as a reminder that junk food can often be very dangerous! Next time when your parents make you eat broccoli and asparagus, keep in mind: they are preparing you for the battle with junk food!
