It’s been a disappointing year for Halo fans, but Numskull Designs are hoping to play a part in bringing a bit of happiness back by the end of it. You see, they’ve teamed up with 343 Industries to launch a range of new Halo merchandise. Given the fact Numskull’s previous partnerships lead to awesome Crash Team Racing goodies and Resident Evil 3 merch, there’s reason to be excited. So, let’s find out what they’ve got lined up!
The entire collection includes a real variety of high-quality merchandise that will most likely be ‘must-haves’ for those with a soft spot for Halo. Focusing on the items which wouldn’t look out of place in a games room first, there’s a stylish Master Chief branded 3D Lamp (£24.99/€29.99/$29.99) that is desk-ready or easily mounted on your wall. As gamers ourselves, we know any kind of storage unit is a welcome addition, hence the Halo branded Gaming Locker (£24.99/€29.99/$29.99) is incredibly enticing. Keep your collection tidy by storing up to 10 gaming cases inside it, while you could also hang up to four controllers on the sides, put your gaming headset on it and keep cables and other items in the draw compartment.
In regards to apparel, there are distinctly different Snapback designs to choose from, including the Master Chief Gift Universe exclusive. Alternatively, the new line of gift sets ideal for winter will be more to your taste, with options such as a knitted scarf and beanie gift pack or a Halo branded 340ml/12oz ceramic mug – just imagine it full of a warm hot chocolate during those cold winter nights – accompanied by a pair of high-quality cotton socks.
Moving onto the slightly niche merch, but still very tempting to own, are the Halo ‘Pin Kings’ Collectible Pin Badges. These official pin sets (£7.99/€9.99/$9.99 each) contain two premium metal and enamel pins on a backing card; there are three sets to collect, with more coming in the future. And last to receive our attention are the LED Cables, the Micro USB and USB-C cables in particular, which become illuminated with LED lights flowing through it as your devices get charged up. This 1.5m/5ft cable is compatible with a range of controllers and a number of other Micro USB/USB C devices such as smartphones and tablets.
