The Last Faith is on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC

Sold as a dark gothic Soulslike Metroidvania, there’s much going on in the brutal world of The Last Faith as it releases on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Available today on all the usual formats, The Last Faith from Kumi Souls Games and Playstack is a game that absolutely focuses on, and brings to the fore, precise combat, a formidable arsenal of weapons and an alliance between the metroidvania and Soulslike worlds.

A brutal new world

Playable across Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC, The Last Faith will thrust you into the world of Eryk. Awakened with no idea of what has gone on before, it’s up to Eryk to traverse the world ahead of him, understanding the secrets and mysteries of the land before his mind – and conscience – fail.

Priced at £24.99, The Last Faith is a non-linear affair, one that is powered by some of the most beautiful of pixel-arted visuals. With many tools and abilities at your disposal, we think that this is a game that will not just be brutal, but will be more than worth checking out.

Our full review of The Last Faith on Xbox will be with you soon. Until that time, you can grab a download for yourself, hitting up the Xbox Store and splashing the cash. From there, you’ll be able to play on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

The Last Faith is available on the digital storefronts of PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC. Will it be as good as Lies of P?

The Last Faith on Xbox Game Description

The wicked and the blessed will be judged the same – let nothing stand in your way. Often brutal, always empowering, The Last Faith is an unholy alliance of metroidvania and soulslike. The Last Faith thrives on merciless and precise combat, with a huge range of custom executions to perform.

Discover a formidable arsenal of melee weapons, arcane spells, and long-range firearms, allowing you to carve a path your own way.

Nonlinear exploration is at the core of The Last Faith. Gorgeous pixel art depicts an imposing gothic landscape. Journey along snow-dusted mountains and castles bathed in moonlight. Discover and upgrade a formidable range of tools for destruction.

Step into The Last Faith’s ravaged world as Eryk, who awakens with no recollection of his immediate past. Soon he will discover he is in a race against time as his mind and conscience begins to deteriorate. His desire for salvation from this affliction sets him on a cursed mission that crosses paths with ancient religions and divinities.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
