If it’s an old school, retro styled run and jump platformer that you’re after, Awesome Pea is here on Xbox One to whisk you away to the Awesome Islands. Will you be helping the greedy, but cute, Pea to overcome all of the obstacles in his way?
In Awesome Pea, you’re task is to aid the greedy Pea in making his way through a selection of levels that are filled with deadly traps and dangerously cute enemies, collecting as many of the coins he can reach in the process. It’s a classic run-and-jump platformer, where you must jump through many challenging levels and undergo any trials for the sake of gold. There are 30 different levels to tackle, which sees you delving into dungeons and climbing towers, all represented in stylishly retro pixel graphics and accompanied by a fitting soundtrack that’s rather nostalgic.
