2026's Best Games

Whether you wish to play as the reluctant hero or the dastardly villain, or even a dastardly villain who wishes to be a reluctant hero, the world will need saving in Alluris, and today that opportunity arises with the release of 562 Interactive’s award-winning adventure experience.

Available to purchase and download on Xbox One, PC via Steam, iOS and the all-conquering Android, Alluris will see you given the chance to head off on an swiping adventure like no other, as you create your own tale and stumble upon all manner of variations to what could possibly unfold.

Running with a easy to handle price point of ÂŁ8.39 from the Xbox Store, Alluris has taken down awards during the development process, with the most notable being that of the best in show “audience choice” at the Indie Prize USA 2019 contest. And it’s pretty easy to see why too, as a combination of Oregon Trail, D&D, Hearthstone, and, um, strangely, Tinder, really does work. Apparently.

See, Alluris, is an adventure game like no other, one with nearly limitless story opportunities yet only two inputs – that of swiping left and/or swiping right.

Features of Alluris include:

  • Countless hand painted environments to explore!
  • 7 races and 9 backstories to unlock!
  • Award winning!
  • Contains teleporting sheep!

562 promise that Alluris will be a game that anyone can play, all without having to worry about losing out on the fun that can be taken in. Should you wish to give it a shot and are ready to put your swiping arm to good use, then Alluris can be found on the usual Xbox, PC, iOS and Android digital stores. We think you should give it a little look, if only for that brilliant art style. Let us know if you agree – the comments section is down below.

Game Description:

Prepare to embark in a journey like no other in Alluris. Play as a reluctant hero or villain to save the world… or just save a colony of bears from some lumberjacks. However you play, you’re sure to walk away with a few crazy stories about your adventure.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
