A new religious horror on Xbox – Gray Dawn

Playing the part of a priest, it’s up to you to try and muddle your way through the most strangest of events. And you’ll be doing it in Gray Dawn on Xbox, the latest religious horror to hit our systems.

A religious horror

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Gray Dawn is a product of the Interactive Stone team, as they thrust you into the life of a priest on a mission. You see, it’s here where you find yourself stuck, slapbang in the middle of events that involve both a demonic possession and divine apparitions. The joys!

Priced at ÂŁ14.99, in Gray Dawn you’ll be looking to prove your innocence, held back by your constant fears. With a ton of gore, a repulsion towards your God and the mutterings of the devil constantly in your ear, proving yourself will not be easy.

Gray Dawn works its way through an old-English-y village in the year 1920. However you’ll also find yourself whisked off to Romania, as Eastern Europe magic slowly comes to the fore. If that setup is a seller, we’d recommend you get yourself moving to your favourite digital storefront immediately.

Buy and play now

For us, it’s the Xbox Store we love to call home. From there, opening the wallet, splashing the cash and grabbing a download of Gray Dawn is a cinch. You can then play on Xbox One or Xbox Series XS, with those on the latter consoles fully optimised. Gray Dawn is also on PC through Steam.

Stay tuned for our full review of Gray Dawn on Xbox. It’s coming soon. Until then, let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Gray Dawn on Xbox Game Description

You will be entangled in a terrifying adventure of a priest on a quest to prove his innocence. Guilty or not, you find yourself trapped in the middle of strange events involving a demonic possession and divine apparitions.

Each time you remember the boy or hear about being accused of murder, you go into a trance fueled by fear. These moments of madness depict gore, repulsion towards God, and sometimes even the voice of the devil himself trying to convince you of things that may or may not be lies…

Gray Dawn takes place around the year 1920, in a remote village in England. Throughout the game, you will often be transported to the beautiful world of Romania, which is inspired by the mysticism of Eastern Europe.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
