Prepare to gather your Raiders – the open beta for Raiders of the Broken Planet on Xbox One, PS4 and PC is fast approaching.
It’s been in Closed Beta form for a little while already, but now the Raiders of the Broken Planet are ready to hit the open world with a Beta that everyone can get involved in. Will you join them?
Due to take place on September 15th and 16th, Xbox One, PS4 and PC players will get the chance to play two missions – First Round and Hanging by a Thread.
First Round runs as the tutorial mission and focuses on Harec, the leader of the Raiders, whilst acting as the intro mission for the game. It is the only mission playable only in single-player.
Hanging by a Thread meanwhile is a daring mission for the Raiders as they infiltrate an enemy airship to rescue the unhinged warrior of legend – Lycus Dion – in an attempt to recruit him to the team. Like every other mission in Raiders of the Broken Planet, it can be played both alone or in multiplayer, with the innovative 4 v 1 Antagonist mod in play.
The two missions included in the Open Beta form the Prologue which will then be free to download at launch, being accompanied by the first campaign – Alien Myths. You’ll find a €9.99/$9.99/£9.99 price tag attached.
