Whenever we get another opportunity to jump back into Dying Light 2: Stay Human, we become more ravenous than the zombies we are slaying. Today marks the release of the Dying Light 2: Hakon Bundle, which throws in some fun cosmetics and weapons. All centred around one of the sequel’s main characters.
An Old Friend
If you managed to survive the first few nights (and scares) of Dying Light 2’s base game, you will surely remember Hakon. This survivor is one of the first we meet in the game, and manages to save us from being executed by the folk at the Bazaar, following infection. The gifts just keep on coming, as Hakon then presents us with an Inhibitor to stop the spread of our infection. From there… well, you’ll just have to play Dying Light 2!
And what a game it is – we gave it a 4/5 score when it released in February 2022 – and have been returning ever since with the release of numerous events and DLCs. Whether it was a large expansion in the Bloody Ties DLC, or cosmetic bundle like the free Ronin DLC, we can never turn down the gory goodness of Techland’s title.
The Dying Light 2: Hakon Bundle on Xbox (and other stores if you prefer) sees us don the outfit and weapons of Hakon. It contains a full character skin of Hakon, his iconic crossbow, complete with both regular and incendiary bolts, as well as his own paraglider to take to the skies with.
The Hakon Bundle Items Include
- Hakon’s Appearance — do whatever you need to survive, and look good while doing it.
- Hakon’s Crossbow — aim steady, and let them take an arrow to the knee… or the head.
- Regular Bolts & Fire Bolts — become a proper firestarter with these special bolts. Just don’t forget to reload.
- Hakon’s Paraglider — this paraglider may help you flee from a horde of Infected or… a romantic exploit gone bad.
