Rocksmith players get to break free with the Queen Song Pack III

2026's Best Games

When you’re one of the biggest, most iconic, totally fabulous bands of all time, then chances are rockers across the globe will want to spend time purchasing, practising, playing and eventually mastering your tracks. Thank God for Queen then as it is they who are appearing on Rocksmith once more with the Queen Song Pack III – and this song pack is bringing some absolute classics.

If you are looking for somebody to love or want to break free in Rocksmith 2014 Edition or Rocksmith Remastered then today is your lucky day. The Queen Song Pack III is, as the name suggests, the third time we have seen the iconic Mercury, May, Taylor and Deacon move on into the gaming scene, with this latest pack containing the following massive tunes…

  • Somebody to Love
  • I Want to Break Free
  • Hammer to Fall

Strangely we see this triple pack of tunes priced up at £7.99, which is more expensive than the usual £6.39 price tag that accompanies most packs of three tunes. With each individual tune priced at £2.39, we reckon this is just a pricing error that will hopefully be fixed, but in the meantime if you’re a fan of the mega band, or just like music in general, then a purchase of the Queen Song Pack III for either Rocksmith edition on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 or PS4 is all a bit of a no-brainer – as long as you purchase each song separately. When you consider the quality of the tunes included, we’re not sure how any self respecting rocker would ever be able to not consider it.

If you are one of those strange breed who could do without more Queen in your lives, and prefer to spend your time learning the riffs of other great bands, then the long list of previous Rocksmith content additions will no doubt keep you utterly amused.

For everyone else, your favoured digital store will provide the chance to join these rock gods on a journey to musical stardom. For us Xbox owners, the Xbox Store will sort us out with a download, whilst those on PS3 and PS4 should be found visiting their own content deliverer.

Will you be purchasing the Queen Song Pack III for Rocksmith? Let us know in the comments below. And if you haven’t yet delved into the dark learnings of the fastest way to learn guitar, then make sure you hit up our review. We reckon it’ll suit anyone with even a hint of desire to learn the way of the axe.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
