Rockstar confirm 3 more Xbox Back-Compat titles due to hit Xbox One

-

For many, the Xbox One Backwards Compatible feature is a life saver, ensuring that even the oldest games get a new lease of life. Today, Rockstar have confirmed that three more of their titles will soon be treated to the wonderful Back-Compat treatment.

With Red Dead Redemption, Bully Scholarship Edition and Grand Theft Auto IV all recently becoming available to play on Xbox One, three more titles will be hitting Xbox One as of June 7th 2018.

If you’re a fan of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the utterly brilliant Midnight Club LA, or Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis, then you will soon be in for a treat.

San Andreas is quite possibly the biggest name in this list and once more we’ll get the chance to head into the life of Carl Johnson as he heads off on a journey across the state of San Andreas to save his family and take control of the mean streets.

If that isn’t to your liking though, then Midnight Club LA is a racer of the highest pedigree, dropping you behind the wheel of a huge collection of real-world tuners, muscle cars, exotics and superbikes as you race and customise forever more. The Complete Edition of Midnight Club will also be available, bringing even more vehicles, parts, music and races.

And finally we have Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis – a much under-rated sports title. It may not be the sport that every gamer under the sun will want to spend time with, but when Rockstar get behind something, it usually turns out for the good and Table Tennis is no exception. With a great physics engine ensuring the gameplay is on point, 11 characters to choose from – each with their own unique style of play – and every table tennis shot you can imagine in play, Rockstar presents Table Tennis is well worth checking out.

Make sure you hit up these games when they become available on June 7th 2018.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
