The first of the two, Eventide: Slavic Fable, follows a famous botanist named Mary as she ventures into a beautiful and vibrant heritage park to see her grandma. After her grandma gets kidnapped, it’s down to us players to help Mary solve a number of mini-games and partake in some object finding, in order to rescue her, uncover the secrets of the park and discover a variety of interesting creature. Whilst many similar gameplay elements are present, the second game Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride takes it to another level in the search for a missing sister. The mini-games are different to any seen before and the magical tale in the lonely village of Ravenbrook brings about some lovely hand-drawn locations which are kind on the eye.
