Think of yourself as a bit of a handy person? Find that throwing up wallpaper is a cinch, and are happy to live life with a paintbrush in your hand? You’ll now get the chance to prove it for real with Tools Up! on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PC.

Tools Up! is now available for purchase and download on all the relevant gaming formats – Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC – providing would-be decorators the opportunity to show their friends and family just what is what in terms of DIY.

Priced up at ÂŁ16.74, Tools Up! promises to be the ultimate party game this holiday season as friends team up to either work together, or go head-to-head in a battle of the brush – the paintbrush. This decorating themed party game will see you taking charge of a team of renovators attempting to make light work of numerous jobs left to them by the residents of a skyscraper, requesting that walls are painted, carpet is put down, furniture is moved and the oddest of odd-jobs is taken care of.

With every last job hit with a time limit, and bubbling lava working its way in from the outside, you and your friends will need to work well as a unit to ensure that each and every person knows what to do, when to do it, and how to accomplish things in the correct manner. If not, well, all hell will break loose.

Features include:

â€˘ Work hard – paint walls, lay tiles and throw everything you need to other rooms.

â€˘ Play better together – join up to three players to move couches against the clock.

â€˘ Expect the unexpected – environmental elements spice up things. Have you ever renovated a building surrounded by lava?

â€˘ Lead the team – whoever holds the blueprint is in charge of the camera angle.

â€˘ Join in the fun – simple controls and a low entry level make Tools Up! a perfect party game for everyone.

Whether you wish to cooperate with others or go it alone matters little in Tools Up!, for all that is important in life is heading over to the usual digital stores in order to grab a download of this fun looking party experience. With our full review fast approaching, the launch trailer below, and a mere ÂŁ16.74 price tag attached, there should soon be no reason to not fully embrace the decorating lifestyle. Unless of course you’ve had enough of it all in the real world! If truth be told though, the immediate comparisons to the brilliant Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 make this a very interesting buy.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
