It’s been a good few years since the mysterious Slender Man hit consoles; in fact, it’s been a decade or so. And that means it’s time he had a bit of a makeover. Are you ready for a new and improved Slender: The Arrival? It’s coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 – just in time for Halloween.
A decade of Slender
Blue Isle Studios recently announced that they were working on a long-awaited 10th anniversary upgrade for Slender: The Arrival. That’s a game we first reviewed way back in 2015, as it dropped onto the Xbox One of the time. Now it’s time for that game to come to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, completely reimagined.
We now have a date for the unleashing of this bone-chilling adventure. And starting on October 18th 2023, players will be whisked back to a dark and familiar world completely reimagined. Every shadow, every material and every hair-raising encounter with the mysterious Slender Man will be rendered in the stunning detail only possible with Unreal Engine 5.
And what’s more, the revisualized version of Slender: The Arrival is now available for pre-order.
A new chapter and more with Slender: The Arrival on Xbox Series X
However, that’s not all. You see, Blue Isle have also confirmed a brand new chapter. Those of you willing to brave the darkness will find a new story where Charlie Matheson’s father experiences his worst nightmare.

You can get pre-ordering Slender: The Arrival on Xbox Series X|S from today. Thos on PlayStation 5 will need to hold tight until September 19th before throwing their money down. Whichever, it’ll be playable on October 18th, just ahead of Halloween. If you do decide to pre-order, you should find a copy of Valley coming your way.
