Steep Road to the Olympics announced by Ubisoft

-

We may be sweltering away with the greatest heat that summer can bring us, but today Ubisoft have decided it’s for the best if we start thinking about the Olympics of 2018 – the Winter Olympics of 2018 no less. And that’s where the next Steep expansion comes in.

Steep Road to the Olympics is an expansion to the base Steep game, and will allow players to create their own Winter Games when it releases on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on December 5th 2017.

In Steep Road to the Olympics, you will get the chance to ride the South Korean mountains, living out an athlete’s journey and dream of the Olympic podium. You will also be able to explore the mountains of Japan, taking in the unique powder and beautiful environment that it brings.

As you could probably expect, the Road to the Olympics will offer unique challenges too, with Downhill, Slopestyle, Halfpipe, Giant Slalom, Super-G and Big Air all in place. Steep Road to the Olympics takes players to the ultimate proving ground, with all eyes on them, and gives them the opportunity to rise as the newest snow hero.

You can probably expect to find the usual seamless Steep multiplayer options available too, and pretty much everything else that is great about the base game at the same time, with the Road to the Olympics building on all the goodness it brings.

We will of course keep you fully up-to-date with any further info regarding the expansion, including details of any Steep bundles that Ubisoft create, but for now, it’s probably worth hitting up the trailer below. Or our full review of Steep on Xbox One. Your choice.
