If anyone knows how to make a sports game it’s EA, and with the upcoming release of EA SPORTS PGA Tour, they may well start to make their mark on the golf scene. Should 2K may wary? Well, the latest teaser trailer and first real details surrounding EA SPORTS PGA Tour should certainly make the competition a bit more exciting.Â
Over the last few years it’s been HB Studios and 2K who have owned the golfing scene, but today, just as PGA Tour 2K23 releases to the world, EA hit back with a sneak peak of their own golf title – EA SPORTS PGA Tour.Â
Coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC in the spring of 2023, EA SPORTS PGA Tour is the next-generation golf game that will allow players the chance to play in all four major championships, including the Masters Tournament, the PGA Championship, the U.S. Open and the The Open.
Powered by Frostbite, you can be sure that EA SPORTS PGA Tour is going to look stunning as EA go about recreating some of the greatest golf courses the world over. Augusta National will be there of course, what with it being the home of The Masters.
EA SPORTS PGA Tour promises more though and you’ll find the full FedExCup Playoffs in town, a stellar lineup of events, tons of pros headed by Jordan Spieth and as much licensed gear and sponsors as you could imagine.
There’s more though, with the key features of EA SPORTS PGA Tour including…
- LPGA Events – Experience unique challenges and real-world events like The Amundi Evian Championship, a major tournament recreated for the first time in a video game. Play as some of the top female players in the game like Lexi Thompson and Jin-Young Ko, or create a female golfer of your own in the newly overhauled Create-A-Player feature.
