Take up the sword with the latest Game Pass addition

Ready to take in an all-new Game Pass adventure? The latest addition to the subscription service will see you taking up the sword before venturing forth into Japan, pretty much Like A Dragon. 

If you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, or one who prefers the PC Game Pass way of life, then a new game is now available for your playing pleasures. That game is the latest to bolster an already bulging Game Pass library – but perhaps more so than anything else that has gone before it. 

A new Like A Dragon on Game Pass addition

You’ll need a Game Pass subscription in order to enjoy the chance to grab a sword and work your way through the wonders of Japan. But today, with the addition of Like A Dragon: Ishin! on Game Pass, all-new adventures await. 

Available right now, following a full launch earlier in the year, Like A Dragon: Ishin! is the eleventh Yakuza/Like A Dragon title – and it’s now free to play through Game Pass. 

So what are you getting with this latest addition? Well, an historical adventure no less, as you join Sakamoto Ryoma on the hunt for his father’s killer. It’s 1860s Kyo that awaits, but from there the usual Yakuza madness will look to unfold. If you’re at all familiar with the Yakuza series, or have found fun with Like A Dragon before, you’ll know what to expect. 

Ishin! is well worth exploring

If you don’t know, but wish to find out more, then we would highly recommend you read our full review of Like A Dragon: Ishin!. We gave it a 4/5 review score, so not quite up there with the best of the franchise, but not far off. In fact, our concluding line sums it all up brilliantly. 

As a result, Like a Dragon: Ishin! is straight down the middle in terms of those ‘best’ Like a Dragon instalments. But as the more common adage goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

With Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name set to build out new stories in November, there feels like no better time than now to get involved in what Like A Dragon has to offer. Especially now that Ishin! is on Game Pass. 

Pop over to the Xbox Store and grab a download. It’s playable across Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. And if you aren’t a Game Pass subscriber, expect to pay £54.99 for access. 

What else is moving in Game Pass?

October is fast approaching its latter days, but there is still some more movement in Game Pass expected. Most notable will be the leavers that shift out on the 31st of October. But at least that same day does welcome in the much anticipated Jusant and Headbangers Rhythm Royale.
